2017 - 2018
Northeast Iowa RC&D will organize a steering committe, lead community outreach, and start to put together elements of this plan. Members of all Postville's communities will be involved in shaping the content and direction of the plan. The advisory committee and Postville Betterment will guide development for the plan.
2018 - 2019
A (Final Area Plan) will be developed.
This consist of the following elements:

A report on existing physical, economic, and demographic conditions.

A study of market conditions in Postville & the region.
-
A final redevelopment plan.

An implementation plan.
2019 - 2020
This plan will be presented to the city council. Postville Betterment will work with the city, Northeast Iowa RC&D, and others in Postville to obtain funding and begin implementation of projects and initiatives proposed in the plan. Postville residents will enjoy new and improved businesses, infrastructures, and public spaces as projects are being completed.
2020+
We will be developing new ideas and plans to the community. Open houses available to the public to demonstrate our plans to better our town. Many new and improved businesses is set to be our goal to provide more options for the community.
